The International
Wildlife Museum is host to over 400 kinds of animals, from insects to
Polar bears. With the aid of taxidermy displays and background replicas
the International Wildlife Museum is able to highlight the animals natural
habitats as well as their instinctive interactions amongst other species.
In 1988 the International Wildlife Museum was founded, as an educational
program of Safari Club International dedicated to increasing appreciation
and awareness of wildlife and natural history. The Museum has a 98-seat
theater with free natural history films as well as workshops and classes
for families and schools. The International Wildlife Museum offers a uniquely
educational wildlife experience that cannot be duplicated in zoos.
