MISSION STATEMENT:

Travelers Aid Society of Tucson, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting people in crisis by advocating for, developing and providing a continuum of individualized case management services with an emphasis on housing programs. In partnership with the community, Travelers Aid staff and volunteers will work to assist homeless and near-homeless individuals and families to recognize and utilize their own potential in their quest for self-sufficiency. As a steward for community resources, the agency is committed to providing cost effective services with maximum impact.

Outreach, and General Services

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING:

Families in Transition, Women in Transition, The Transitional Shelter for Seriously Mentally Ill, CASA, CASA II, PHASE II, and Catalina.

LONG TERM HOUSING:

Shelter Plus Care & El Puente

Contribute Financially

• Sponsor a family for Christmas
  
• Businesses, organizations and churches can designate Travelers Aid Society as a recipient of a fundraiser.
  
• Travelers Aid Society is a United Way agency. General, as well as specified donations, made to the United Way workplace programs support the work of Travelers Aid.

Collect and Donate Christmas stocking stuffers, gifts, wrapping paper, decorations, etc. Personal hygiene products Paper products - toilet tissue, Kleenex, paper towels School supplies Summer protection supplies: sunscreen, sun glasses, lip balm, hats etc.

Volunteer

• Volunteers are always needed, please donate the most important gift of all, your time!

Invite

• Invite Travelers Aid staff to speak at your church, organization, or business. Speakers can be scheduled by calling Kathy Salewski, OSF, 622-8900, ext 18.
