provides programs, services, skills training, social
and recreational opportunities and much more to
expand horizons and enhance the lives of adults who are
blind and visually impaired including...
The
Center for Technology & Job Skills Training
trains and prepares people with visual impairment
or other disabilities to enter the job market as skilled
workers for customer service call centers, as reservation
representatives and as switchboard operators.
In addition, the Center provides assistive technology
assessments, job site evaluations and one-on-one adaptive
technology training.

GOALS-General
Orientation to Adaptive Living Classes... Hundreds
of adults with visual impairment already live life
more securely and confidently because of TAB's GOALS
program.
Independent Living Skills... Special instruction
for visually impaired individuals or groups teaching
techniques for daily living such as home management.
Social
and Recreational Program... TAB offers recreational
programs and social opportunities both onsite and
in the community.

Developmental
Disability Services... This special TAB program
provides habilitation skills training to adults
with developmental disabilities who may also have
vision loss.
