You can make a difference in the life of an abused or neglected child.
The mission of The Arizona Council for CASA, Inc. is to speak
up for and financially support abused and neglected children
who are in the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate)
Program in Arizona.
What
is a Court Appointed Special Advocate?
A CASA is a trained community volunteer who is appointed
by the Juvenile Court Judge to represent the best interests of
abused and neglected children involved in court proceedings.
What does a CASA do?
A
CASA acts as the "eyes and ears" of the
Juvenile Court Judge who must determine
whether abused and neglected children can reunite
with their families or be permanently placed in
adoptive or foster homes.
What is the Arizona Council for CASA?
The Arizona Council for CASA is a 501 (c)(3),
non-profit organization which raises funds
for the State of Arizona CASA program to
serve the unmet needs of abused and
neglected children who are wards of the state.
Additional
CASA volunteers are desperately needed.
You can also help abused and neglected children
of Arizona by making a contribution today.
